Flight Dispatch Theoretical Training, developed and performed by Lufthansa Flight Training, consists of 245 blocks (approximately 6 weeks) classroom training in Riga.
Course is developed in accordance with ICAO Doc 7192-AN/857, Part D-3.

- Civil air law and regulations
- Dispatch Resource Management, Human factors
- Charts and Legends
- Meteorology
- Take-off perfromance
- Cruise performance
- Landing performance
- Aircraft systems and engines, use of the MEL/CDL
- Mass and Ballance Refresher in view of flightplanning
- Flightplanning
- ETOPS
- Basic Navigation Refresher
- Air Traffic Management (ATM)
- Cold Weather Operation
- CFMU slot
- Network Planning and Operations Control
- Operations Control
- Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)
Course will include several intermediate tests and final Theoretical Knowledge Examination (TKE).
After successful passing of examination, graduates will receive approved LFT Flight Dispatcher training attendance certificate.
