After completion of this course the student will know:
- Regulations covering the safe stowage of cabin baggage (including cabin service items) and the risk of it becoming a hazard to occupants of the cabin or otherwise obstruction or damaging emergency equipment or aeroplane exits;
- How to recognize and manage passenger who are, or become, intoxicated with alcohol or are under influence of drugs or are aggressive;
- Methods used to motivate passengers and the crowed control necessary to expedite an aeroplane evacuation;
- The importance of correct seat allocation with reference to aircraft mass and balance;
- The seating restrictions of disabled passengers;
- The necessity of seating able bodied passengers adjacent to unsupervised exits;
- Precautions to be taken when live animals are carried in the cabin;
- Duties to be taken in the event of encountering turbulence including securing of the cabin.
Training consists theoretical education and practical exercises with setup and main points as:
- Stowing of cabin baggage;
- Seat allocation, mass & balance;
- Categories of passengers with seating restrictions;
- Seating of able-bodied passengers;
- Turbulence procedures;
- Evacuation procedures.
